World-Wide). on wax. Volume 2 features 12 songs - 8 songs from
the original release, plus 4 never heard before bonus tracks.
This
Album comes with standard edition bonus track CD, featuring the
10 bonus tracks from both "BRC II" vinyl releases (Buffalo
Rock City II Volume One
and
Buffalo
Rock City II Volume Two).
The cover art has been updated to reflect the era this volume
covers, featuring the "Fox."
NOTE : Only the 4 bonus tracks will be available with the

“BRC II” is the sequel to the first “Buffalo
Rock City”
album , which was released December 2020. For "Buffalo
Rock City II"
(2023) lifelong KISS fan and KISS THIS! founder/guitarist, John
Jeffrey, has, once again, assembled a who’s who of artists,
largely representing the Western New York music scene. Among the
artists on "Volume
One"
are original “Buffalo Rock City" alumni-- Gene Schmidt (guitar),
Joe Teresi (guitar), Shawn Przybylak (drums) and Jody Velletta
(vocals). "Buffalo
Rock City II Volume Two"
also features newcomers to the project Kylie Velletta and
Rochester New York's own, Steve Cone.
The album features internationally known musicians - John Corabi
(vocals), Jean Beauvior (vocals), Steve Blaze (guitars), Tommy
Denander (guitars), Dave Comer (vocals/guitars/bass) & Mitch
Weissman (vocals).These "celebrity guests" have toured and
recorded with The Plasmatics, the Ramones, Alice Cooper, Rob
Zombie,
Lillian Axe, KillSET, Gene Simmons, Motley Crue, The Dead
Daisies, Deep Purple, Jeff Beck, Paul Stanley, Ricky Martin,
Michael Jackson and Beatlemania.
Keeping in tradition with the great KISS album covers, Kevin
Conrad, the comic artist who penciled and inked the front cover
of “Buffalo Rock City,” created a masterpiece once again-- the
front and back art for "II."
A life-long KISS fan, Kevin’s most known for inking all 31
issues of Todd McFarlane’s "KISS - Psycho Circus" comic book
series. This new updated "Volume Two" cover art depicts three of
the original KISS members plus their 80's era, iconic drummer,
Eric Carr. The cover is an homage to the 1977 KISS "Love Gun"
album artwork, featuring Buffalo's Albright Knox Art Gallery as
the centerpiece, and also a nod to the 1982 "Creatures of the
Night" album cover, with the blue hue and glowing eyes.
"Volume Two" features songs solely from 1980-1989, plus the
unreleased (Mitch Weissman/Gene Simmons) 1985 song "What
You See Is What You Get." |
