After a long wait, "Buffalo
Rock City II"
is FINALLY coming out on vinyl! Since being released on CD in
November of 2023, fans have been clamoring for it's release on
vinyl. Honestly, what held the album back from being released on
vinyl was that there was so much great material on the CD. Pressing
vinyl is EXPENSIVE and it is very limiting, time wise. You are only
allotted 23 minutes per side and our only options for the releasing
the album on vinyl, were either removing a bunch of songs for a
single vinyl release, or making a double album edition, which would
have been so costly to make, it would have put our price point at a
dollar amount we didn't think fans would want to pay.
So
what we decided to do is release "Buffalo
Rock City II"
into 2 Volumes. But it's not just the songs from the original CD,
we're talking bonus tracks baby! 10 bonus tracks in total.
Volume One 1976-1977 features songs exclusively from "Rock and Roll
Over" and "Love Gun." To properly represent the era this volume
focuses upon, the artwork by Kevin Conrad has been updated to
feature the "Catman" on the cover. There are 6 previously unreleased
bonus tracks (featuring "Hooligan" sung by Ryan Spencer Cook from
the Ace Frehley band), along with 6 tracks from the CD release. All
of the tracks have been mastered specifically for vinyl by
world-renowned mastering engineer Anthony Casuccio.
Volume One is available exclusively online at the
bandcamp
website and will be released on Record Store Day, April 12, 2025.
The vinyl release is a limited edition, as there are only 200 copies
being made available World-Wide.
You can pre-order the album now at
buffalorockcity.bandcamp.com.
The featured track you get when pre-ordering (which you can also
download) is "I Want You" featuring vocals by Buffalo's own Nat
Peace (Analog Kids, Call for the Priest).
The wait was definitely worth it and make sure you pre-order Volume
One before it's Sold Out! |
