September 30 : Jazan Wild's covers Rock And Roll All Nite (update)
From: markosia.org.uk / www.kisskollector.com
London based Markosia Enterprises will be releasing Jazan Wild's Carnival Of Souls debut album on October 29 - simultaneously with the first issue of his comic book series titled "Jazan Wild's Carnival Of Souls".
Jazan Wild has been working on his 13-track CD (a soundtrack to the comic books) for almost two years with the help of longtime KISS associate and Grammy Award winning
producer Bob Kulick. The album includes Jazan Wild’s “jungle” take on KISS’ "Rock And Roll All Nite".
Meanwhile, the comic has gone to print (it’ll be available for $ 3.50 next month) with Stefan Petrucha (X-Files) having supplied the script and art from Kevin Conrad (KISS’ Psycho Circus, Spawn, Hulk) and colors from Dan Kemp (KISS’ Psycho Circus, Spawn, Spiderman). A trade paper back is being planned for a June 2006 – which will contain a CD with rare bonus tracks written, performed and produced by Jazan Wild.

Jazan Wild will soon be confirmed as one of the guests at this years UK KISS Expo, taking place on November 19, alongside Eric Singer and Jesse Damon. And he’ll also do a comic book store appearance in Brighton that weekend. In addition Jazan Wild will be appearing at Los Angeles’ biggest comic book store Golden Apple on Melrose Avenue on October 29 for a Halloween promotion not to be missed.

September 29 : Birgit’s CD featuring Bruce Kulick out soon
From: www.kisskollector.com / Kiss-Related-Recordings.nl
The In November of last year, we reported that Former KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick played guitar on three tracks of Dutch singer (and actress/TV host) Birgit’s upcoming album 'Sticky Fingers'. About a year later, the album will finally see the light of day - eventhough it was scheduled originally for a release earlier this year.
After trouble with her record company, the album was postponed and meanwhile we’ve learned that Birgit has decided to release the album on her own through Birgit Music with Coast To Coast taking care of the distribution.
The release of the album is expected to take place in the second week of November.
"Hardrocking Diva" will be Birgit’s new single, out on October 4, for which the videoclip was filmed yesterday (with the first single - released in November 2004 - having been "Control" which is one of the tracks Bruce played on).

Bruce Kulick recorded the three tracks in the studio of his brother Bob Kulick during the summer of 2004, after Dutch creative director Sidney Brandeis had hooked Birgit and Bruce up. Sidney Brandeis (owner of an entertainment company in Holland which includes a management agency) happens to know Birgit’s producer Peter Kardolus – with whom Bruce already did some session work a few years ago in a studio in Amsterdam, Holland, as arranged by Brandeis.

At along distance Bruce Kulick played on three album tracks. Via MP3's his contribution were mailed to the Amsterdam based recording studio. Her band, mainly guitarists Xander Hubrecht and Jeroen den Hengt, was called in for assistance when necessary.

KISS tribute CD makes headlines & enter Top 15 charts in Norway

From: Kiss Army Norway
KISS Army Norway and VME are proud to announce that ”Gods Of Thunder – A Norwegian Tribute To KISS” debuted at #13 on the Norwegian charts.
In comparison, Alive III peaked at #15, and as odd as it might seems albums like Creatures Of The Night, Smashes Thrashes and Hits, Animalize and Carnival Of Souls never made such a great chart position as this tribute CD. In April last year Gene Simmons' "Asshole" debuted and peaked at #23 on the Norwegian charts.

KISS Army have once again brought a lots of attention to KISS in Norway. The tribute album got maximum exposure in the media making entertainment headlines on National television, radio and newspapers.

The album consist of chart-topping and award winning bands from Norway including million-selling artist Espen Lind, World Idol winner Kurt Nilsen (who beat US platinum artist Kelly Clarkson in last years final) and Norwegian superstars Wig Wam with a guest appearance by Bruce Kulick. In addition to the music, the CD-cover is quite historic and unique as the artwork was done by Ken Kelly, the man behind the Destroyer and Love Gun paintings.

Prior to the release, executive producer Stig Karlsen (KISS Army) claimed that this CD were going to bring tribute CD's to a new level both musically & visually, and judging from the reviews and respons from the fans, he and his team might as well have succeeded.

International fans can now buy the album from KISS Army Norway or VME:
